Ever wonder why nobody clicks on your eBay Auction Ad? Maybe there is something wrong with your title.

When you put anything up for auction/sale on eBay, you are competing with about a million other people trying to get a buyer’s attention (and money). A great title can make, or break you.

What is it that You are Selling?

You have a product to sell. When writing an auction title, you want to be as specific as to what it is your selling.

For example, if you are selling Baby Clothes, you don’t want to just write “Baby Clothes” in the title. Instead, briefly describe the item in your title. “Baby Boy Clothes Size 6-12 Months Brand New”.

Think like a buyer.

When a bidder/buyer wants to look for an item on eBay, 9 out of 10 times they will do a search for that particular item. If you were looking for your item, then what exactly would you type into that box? If you think it’d help, try searching yourself to find someone else selling your item. What were the first things you thought of typing?

You should be sure to write the item’s brand and specific model number in the title, as people will often search only for this information. Make sure that you also say exactly what the item is.

Think like a seller.

It wouldn’t hurt to keep an eye on a few power sellers and copy their technique and styles. They are obviously doing something right. If it works for them, it might work for you too.

Avoid Stupid eBay clichés.

Here are a few words you should never ever put in your title: L@@k, Nice, Wow, Rare, or Must See. Nobody searches for these words in the first place. Secondly, you are wasting valuable title real estate space.

It’s the same old story over and over again. A blog or website owner got their Google Adsense account terminated because of click fraud. How can you protect yourself against account termination?

What is Click Fraud?

Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing.

How do you prevent being involved in this fraud?

Don’t click on your ads The easiest way to prevent account termination due to click fraud is not to click on your Adsense ads – period. Many website owners claim that they click their ads because they are truly interested in the product or service advertised. Instead of clicking on the ad, type in the URL of the advertiser instead.

Don’t ask your visitors to click on your ads. Never ask your visitors or friends to click on your Adsense ads. For example, never put a ‘Please visit our sponsors’ or ‘Support this site by clicking on our ads’ note on your site.

Furthermore, do not tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place.

Keep the lines of communication open – Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing. If you feel that your website is being sabotaged by a disgruntled visitor who is clicking your ads, it might help to shoot an email to Google letting them know of your situation.

So you’ve heard that there is a lot of money to be made by writing articles. Sounds like a great idea, after all, writing articles isn’t rocket science. But how can you profit from your words?

Easy, simply use your articles to promote affiliate products.

To make money with articles that you place on websites, you will need a variety of good, solid, and well paying affiliate programs that will help to generate revenue.

When you pick an affiliate program, think about your niche subject. What company best complements your subject. If you’re writing about real estate, it wouldn’t make sense to promote lipstick would it?

Also, The most important thing to keep in mind when picking affiliates to promote is to keep your niche audience in mind. Otherwise you will be promoting a product to a group of people who do not even want nor need it. If your niche site targets parents of young children, then promote baby products. If you niche site targets gardeners, then promote gardening products.

Now, I know your probably thinking that the best way to your pot of gold is by promoting the highest paying affiliate program, right? A program that pays over $100 dollars might sound appealing, but how well does that product or service convert? In other words how well does it sell?

Before you get hazy-eyed by big dollar signs, remember that some products are bound to sell more than others. Clickbank deals primarily with info products and info services. Most commission rates per sale runs between 10% to 75%.

Commission Junction Having an affiliate account with Commission Junction, also known as CJ, will allow you to sell mostly physical products, with exception to Web hosting and Domain companies.

LinkShare – Similar to CJ, most of Linkshare’s businesses deal with actual physical goods which have to be shipped to the buyer.
