Are there any legitimate at home businesses that are accredited by the Better Business Bureau?

I’m a single mom of three and has been searching the internet for any at home business opportunities I can do in my spare time. I do participate in those online surveys but that seems to be a dead end. I want something that’s not a scam and will not take what money I don’t have. I do verify everything through the better business bureau. I’m not interested in posting a web link or blog because I don’t have my own business nor do I intend on having my own business. I was more interested in posting links, data entry, etc. for other companies. So if anyone has had any luck with some of those online business opportunities please feel free to share. I greatly appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks a bunch!
I’m not sure from your question if you are looking for a home BUSINESS or a home JOB. The two are totally different, but sometimes the lines are blurry.
With a home JOB, a company pays you to do specific work for them and usually no investment on your part is required except for the cost of your computer, telephone, office supplies, etc.
The line gets blurry because many companies hire people as independent contractors (so they don’t have to pay benefits, social security or income tax, etc.) which makes you self-employed from a tax perspective.
Unfortunately home JOBS are difficult to find. It usually requires having special skills that a company needs badly enough that they are willing to pay you to do it from home.
Most people who want to work from home, end up realizing that the best way is to start their own business. It gives them the freedom to be home and schedule their work hours around their family schedule.
Home Businesses usually do require an investment to buy marketing materials, a supply of product, a website, etc. The easiest way to start your own home business is to sign up with a company that uses independent distributors or sales reps to market their products. Most reputable ones are Accredited with the Better Business Bureau.
Starting your own business as a distributor is usually fairly low cost and has low monthly overhead. In exchange for the costs most companies provide free training, a website for online sales, low-cost marketing materials like catalogs, brochures, business cards etc.
Since you asked for people to share, I’ll post a link to the company that I have found personally to be a good business opportunity. It is BBB Accredited.

You can contact your local BBB but I wouldn’t rely on them. Your best bet is to use the search engines and search the opportunity you are interested in and then do your "do diligence."
Good luck.

Good question…
There is nothing wrong with your own business. If you don’t want to register a LLC, sole Proprietorship, or other type of business registration, you don’t have to do that to earn extra money from home.
I’ll speak from my experience. I have been able to earn money by promoting Clickbank products. Most of these sales came from promoting through 3 main places.
1. Writing and submitting free articles to ezinearticles
2. Creating and promoting squidoo pages.
3. Writing short original content at hubpages.
Combining these three things have helped me to earn money as an affiliate marketer.
I feel confident it will work for you.
All the best,
Anthony
