Can anyone suggest a cheap web hosting/Domain reg plan ?

Could you suggest a domain reg / web hosting /site building plan suitable for a small business which does not expect loads of traffic. The site is basically just a few pages of a ‘ Pricelist’ viewers will scroll through.

If that’s all you have, then my free hosting plan would definitely be best for you. http://hoston.us/?page=free

I can suggest you the one that I chose. However, it is far more important for you to find the best match for your needs. I suggest that you take a look at several hosting options. Most will register your domain as part of the package. A great web host offers all the needed building tools as well. It is recommended that while comparing hosts, first compare feature-by-feature then dollar-for-dollar. This will ensure that you get the best fit for your needs and the most value for your money. You can take a look at the host that I use as one of your comparisons. http://find.sitesell.com/UnstoppableDreams.html They offer great tools, training and support. They even analyze the work you do for best performance.

    BEST WISHES!

I use HostGator, and am completely happy. They have a $5/ month plan that will probably be more than you need. I need unlimited domains, so I am paying them $10/ month.

As for the domain name, I use http://www.websitespot.com
I find that using the host to buy the domain ends up costing me a couple bucks more, and I am CHEAP! I’d rather save the dollar.

If you need a paid hosting plan, I suggest you check My Webbie Hosting’s Lite Plan. It includes free domain name registration, 1.5 G disk space, 150 G bandwidth, etc, for only $3.95/month.

However, if you need a plan which includes a site builder, I suggest you check their Business plan. Aside from the site builder, it also include one free domain name, 15 G disk space, 300 G bandwidth, etc for only $4.95/month.

You can check the site builder and control panel demos by clicking on teh links below.

    Hi,

I have a lot of experience marketing small companies online (I have 3 companies). One of the best ways is to sign up at business directories and protals. These are basically listings of businesses (simliar to the phone book). The advantage is that these portals usually get a lot of traffic and they’re ranked high on Google because of all the quality links they contain.

My favorite portal is called Directory Exclusive. I signed up a few weeks ago because they’re giving a away a free business card holder when a person enter’s their company info. I received it in the mail 3 days ago =)

I don’t know if they still have that promotion, but you can try to get the free card holder here:

    Good Luck
