How do you start an online business?

I know lady who has an online business going on for 6 years and now she’s ready to move to a warehouse so obviously, she’s being successful. She has her own website to sell her merchandise. She sells kids stuff like toys, costumes, etc.

How did she start this business? And where exactly does she get all her merchandise?
