You can sign up for Yahoo! Merchant Solutions:

Right now, they are running a promotion; $50 set-up fee is waived, and you get a discount for first two months off the standard monthly fee… No programming is required to maintain the store.

Some of the stores running on Yahoo! can be seen here:

You should try Freemerchant.com. My friends’ mom ran a very successful and profitable online store and was able to set up everything through them. Hope that helps!

I built my own web site. It’s listed below. Not only do I sell my own book, but I also generate income from the ads on the site.
Best thing is that I didn’t have to know html or anything like that to get started. You can use this program with ebay or you can get a module for a store, too. I don’t do that but that is because I only sell one product.

The initial cost is $299, but you get everything you need, including a choice of templates (100′s), help from the forums (which is invaluable), brainstorming tools (to help you learn what words people search for), additional ideas for how to make more income from your site, a program to help you exchange links with other sites, and on and on.

If you click on my site, you can look at "My Passion" and there is a link there that will take you to specific information about the program that I use. It’s awesome.

I’ve been building my resume site since Sept 2005 and it’s doing very well. I started a scrapbooking site, too, but I need to work on it more. I’m not making much from that one yet. :)

Anyway, I hope you find what you’re looking for.
