I am considering selling some things on ebay in my spare time to make some quick and easy money. Is this a good idea and what kind of things shall I sell? Thanks.
Easy to do but not easy to make money.
Anyone who wants to make easy money needs to learn a basic concept. If it was easy money then everyone would do it and the profits from doing so would disappear.
Most businesses or jobs that are worth going after are not easy.

Do some research on ebay and look up what’s hot and sells well. Find a way to buy these things in bulk that way they are cheaper for you, sell them on ebay. Make sure that you gain enough profit after the seller fees and shipping though.

ebay is a great way to sell anything you want to a worldwide market. Also consider your local craigslist (www.craigslist.com) where the listing is free and transactions are local.

EBay I think if you do it correct and in volume, maybe. I personally do not appreciate their fees, structures and the cost you carry at the end of the day to sell a product.
That there are allot of people who go there – yes, but at their cost. I recently had a squabble with them and just, until today, haven’t had any decent comment from them. I am on my way to the Consumer Council with the documentation, but that’s just me.
Easy, yes – good, well. Do your homework on some others before jumping into this.
