is the smc company a good home based business where one can make some real money at?

would really like to know all comments on this home based business company before i make any decisions! thanks..

It was expensive! I tried it for 2 years and made NOTHING!!! There is to much competition to actually sell your products. The only reason I kept it for 2 years was that I spent nearly $300 on the start-up kit AND I got automatically renewed for $40 and didn’t call in time to cancel the renewal payment. I did buy a few things for myself and the quality was fair, not great, but passable. I set up my own web-page and advertized my butt off and got nothing! I went door to door and got nothing. I sell Avon and do much better than this and Avon’s start up was $10!

Anyways, if you just look on ebay or anyother auction site you will see that is overcrowed by people trying to sell SMC products. And they even sell under the profit margine, which I do not understand.

My advice, stay far away from this one!

    smc is bad.
I’ve heard so much bad stuff about it.
Other than that, I dunno what to tell you as I am looking for the same things that you are.

smc has an expensive sart up and unless you wanna rent a booth a every flea market, craft fair etc, it’s a waste of time you will break the bank in rental fees. i joined Passion Parties and start up was small and i make good money and only do one party a week. it just depends on what you wanna put in it.

I tried SMC about 10 years ago for about 6 months. Starting any new business takes capital and time. I made a small but steady profit by going to the flea markets and doing the mail order business but the time commitment was too great for me then. I sell Avon now and although the start up costs are low it still takes time to build your business.
    Good luck!
