Anyone have or know of a successful online business that can be started without having to put very little, if any money in upfront?
I’m relly looking for something that does not require filling out surveys.
Im looking for type of company that doesn’t require you to get "hits" on a website or any kind of dumb tacticts like that. I need something more serious, and something that really works.

i just want to tell you. there are lots of companies that offers free online business write articles for them etc. but before start business with them trace the goodwill of the company. because there are lots of companies not pay you timely and some companies give you a target and it is hard to achieve.
i suggest you start your own blog. It is free. If you have interested in any topic you can choose it. and add lots of information about on that particular topic. You can do its little promotion like directory submission etc. so that visitors can come to your site by search engines or by refral sites. If users found interest in your blog and they will regular come to your blog.
then you can add Google Adsense to your blog and can contact to other advertisers. Google adsense pay you best on per click also it is automatically display ads according to your content.
yes they are out there but if you are seriously looking to start your own business then they are out there and do require start up funds but what you get in return is far greater if you are serious these thing take some effort on you part as does anything in life but it can be done

Great Question.. and as you may have already found out, there is just too many companies out there.
I too was looking for a way to supplement my income so after careful researching I decided to join a company called Global Domains International. Their website is really easy and most of the marketing is done for you. You can sell any domain to anyone that may need it, not only WS but all of the other ones.
The best thing about GDI was that I did not have to do any direct selling and the cost was almost nothing. I currently have some team members that reside in Australia, UK, India, All over the United States, all over South and Central America, so this business is truly global. There is a 7 day free trial period but then after that is just $10.00… 10.. not even enough to take a friend to the movies. Most sites will require you to have a credit card to join, GDI doesn’t, they have partnered up with Paypal to provide and easier and safer process of their members payments.
At first I was skeptical but now I am just amazed on how easy it is, I am not promising you riches over night, but with some time and dedication anything is possible. I think it depends on what you want to do. I’ve read it’s difficult to find legitimate surveys sites. What I have found that’s fairly easy to do is writing for eHow. You don’t pay money up front, or pay them, ever. The sign up is simple. You don’t need experience writing and it can make quite a bit of money, but it is over time. I don’t think you’ll find any get rich sites though probably plenty that will offer you that. I’m making money every month with this. The bottom line though is what is your passion and what will you enjoy doing that can also make you money.

Being in it and I love their products their is alot out there but I have not found anything that is as good as AMWAY!
The first link below is a site that will pay you to submit original articles to them. There is no cost to you at all and they pay you $3.00 to $20.00 per article depending on size and quality. They are legit and they do pay through PayPal.
