   Go to http://www.guru.com/ to see if you qualify for any of the posted contract jobs. If so, you can post your qualifications and bid on the work.

   Work as an independent programmer on freelance sites. I dont call it as a home based jobs but you can work from anywhere including home!!
   Register for free as a service provider on freelance sites and list out all your skills on your profile. You will find email notifications as soon as project listed that suit to your skill.
   Payments are thru safe escrow.

   would you be interested in writing?

   You could setup a blog or website, this is completely free. Once you have added some good content, you can start to earn money from advertising. I know you wont make a huge income from this, but it would get you started working from home.

   Pick a topic which you are very interested in, and write a piece on that everyday.

   I’ve given step by step instructions on how to create a website for free, and then add adverts to it so you can start generating income.

   A few options:

   1. eBay
   - Find something niche to sell. I have a store there : http://stores.ebay.com/mywellnessstore

   2. Join Commision Junction (CJ)
   - This is a large site for affiliate marketing

   3. Earn from Google Adsense
   - Create websites or blogs, Google Adsense is beneficial

   4. Answer surveys
   - Some survey site pay after you answering them e.g.
   http://www.squidoo.com/opinionsquare

   5. Join ClickBank
   - Another affiliate marketing site

   6. Write ebooks and sell on eBay
   - that if you are a good writer

   7. Join online network marketing company and sell those thing online either through ebay or own website.

   By the way, becareful on those get rich quick scheme, those claims you can earn $$$$ in a day… nothing come easy without hardwork…

   Hello, I work from home now. I don’t make a killing but I am making money.

   There was an investment to buy my own business, but I have realized that is probably what made me follow the system that they provided and I was successful doing it because I had a vested interest in it, other than working of course. I had to find a way to pay myself back for the $700 I invested in the business.

   I can’t speak for all of the home biz’s out there, but this one was legit and my wife and I both like it.

   I don’t think there are any legit "work from home" gigs out there unless you are already working for a company and you can then make it work from home. Most of the advertisements out there are for a "work from home business" not "job".

   Make sure you understand the difference between a "work at home business" and a "work at home job". They are different.

   Typically with a work at home business you will need to put in an initial investment to start and then you will most likely have to keep putting in of your own money to keep your business going, just like any other business you might start.

   A work at home job is different. It’s just like a regular job you are just doing it from your own home. You should never, ever pay a fee to get a work at home job! Not for materials, nothing. The only expenses you should have should be for equipment like a headset, highspeed internet, updated software. Legitimate companies will not charge you to work for them. Finding these companies can be an overwhelming task, but I have a good resource for you…. http://www.workathomedesk.com is a free site that has an excellent directory of companies that hire home workers and also has frequently updated job leads.
