Do you have an Internet Business? I need some help…?

I’m trying to gain my knowledge of this internet business opportunity. I have a great idea and am trying to get all my eggs in one basket before I launch it. I’d like to know what hosting company you use and why you chose them? Is your internet business successful and if so why do you think it is? Lastly, did you build your own website or did you have someone do it for you – where did you build it and who built it for you? Sorry if this is a lot but I’m really trying to learn all I can.
I appreciate your time and input!!
Everything depends upon what you will require for your business. If you plan to have an automated inventory and shopping cart on your website, then you might want to hire someone who is a professional. That is, unless you are good with HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SQL, or several other web languages. For yourself, first check the local yellow pages for a company that designs websites. Many local web design companies will also offer a low-cost web hosting package (sometimes less than $3 a month!). Of course, if your business is going to eat-up a lot of hard drive space and require more bandwidth, then you will be paying a bit more money. I like using local companies because if there is a problem, I know where to find them in my own town. Your internet business will be as successful as the amount of time and money that you put into it, that’s really all there is to it.

If you have a great idea we may be able to help. If you have a promising idea we would be interested in a joint venture: http://www.ds32.com/about.php
Our most successful website is http://www.shareworld.co.uk
It started as a single page 4 years ago and it’s present status can be seen in our Media Pack at http://www.shareworld.co.uk/uploads/docs/advertising.pdf
We consider this site to be successful in the fact that: 1. It is still growing exponentially (in visitor number terms) 2. It is attracting paid advertising 3. It has capacity for much more improvement and growth. 4. It is very Google friendly 5. It is very well optimised for search engines. 6. It has grown to its present state organically (it has had no outside investment) 7. It is profitable (although profit has not, so far, been our priority)
