I have been researching home based businesses for several years. The sites I have found that give the best, most honest information are listed below.
The WAHM site – the message boards are a good source of information. You can find out what has and hasn’t worked for people. It’s a good place to get feedback on your ideas as well. It’s not a membership site (meaning there’s no fee involved). It’s just a good source of info.
Another site – the mymommybiz site is full of ideas. This might be the best place for you to start. I gave you the link to the Business Ideas page of the site. Towards the bottom of that page is a list of all kinds of home business ideas. There is also information on how to start those businesses. And some of the businesses have e-books you can buy. I have not bought any, so I can not tell you if it is worth it or not. But you can get a lot of ideas/info without buying anything.
Finally, there is Site Build It! which I really love. Even if you don’t want to build a website through them, they have a wealth of FREE information (in the form of e-books, etc.). Follow the link below, click on the "Site Map" icon at the top of the page. The site map page has information on all kinds of businesses, but if you scroll towards the bottom, you will find the free e-book and informational downloads. You don’t have to give them your email address or anything. You can just download the stuff you want. I’m currently reading one of the e-books and it is really good. I’ve paid money for e-books that don’t have nearly this much info in them.
Also, go through the site build it/site sell website thoroughly. There are case studies that you can view to get ideas, etc. If you do buy and build a site through them, their employees help you a LOT. Plus, they have lists of drop shippers, wholesalers, etc. that you can use to get your stock to sell. Before you buy, send an email to them and ask for more details about this to see if it fits what you are looking for.

hi i have been working with this company for a while now they provide wholesale lists for electronics anywhere from apply ipods mp4 players car dvd players ig screen tv’s for 300$ USD 42 inch they let me know where to get those products now i advertise them on ebay and sell them i make a minimum of 500$ dollars a day selling these products on the side they have really helped me out and showed me a whole other way of doing business the easy way. i suggest you give it a try its not hard to learn i did it and plus i still have a full time regular job also i do this on the side because you dont need to spend much time to make a decent amount of cash.
