This may be a strange question, but I am selling something on Ebay, and the person who is close to winning the item has a store that sells items that are similar to the one I’m selling. Is it against any rules for them to turn around and re-sell the item on Ebay?
I’m new to selling on Ebay, so I apologize if the answer is obvious or well-known. Thanks in advance!

I will take your question a step further. Someone bought something from me, filed a complaint saying it was broken. We agreed on a partial refund. A week later the same person had the item they just bought from me, re-listed and it was NOT broken at all. Welcome to Ebay, there is a lot to learn. I wish you luck. Most on there are honest but check others feedbacks as they can speak volumes as to someones character.

      It’s fine. The buyer can do anything they wish, including resell.

      No rule against reselling. Once someone buys something, it’s theirs to use or dispose of however they want to.
