In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online.

i asked this same question a few weeks ago. i started to donate plasma. depending on where you are you can make a decent amount of money they take the plama out of your blood then give your blood back. and get paid probable around 30 everytime you go. the only thing is you cant have traveled outside the country or have gottent a tattoo or peirecing in the last year. look in the phone book under blood banks or plasma resources

There are an unfathomable number of scams out there, so you need to watch out for that, however there are some real ways to make money online too.
Have a poke at things that don’t try and make you invest any money, and see how you go from there, getting a feel for it could put you off, as making money online is actually very hard work – especially for the first 6 months or so. (It took me two years before I could take weekends off.)

There are a lot of ways to make money on the side, you just need to be creative. Here are a few:
-clean out your closet and sell old clothes
-get a census job (the 2010 census will start hiring soon, they pay around $11 an hour. check out their website for more information).
-find odd jobs on craigslist. There are plenty of people in your neighborhood that need help moving/cleaning.
-make a blog/website and use google adsense to get paid. the internet is a great way to make money, and best of all, the possibilities are limitless.
