What is the best ISP Boadband service / contract on the UK market for home & light business use?

I am looking at a new Internet connection for my home (in Bristol) over existing BT line (will probably need new ASDL box if I go with new supplier). All usefull comments welcomed

The link below may or may not help…..we use Nildram and have used metronet both are very good value and service has not caused us any problems with downloads and connection. We are very happy with Nildram……anyway go to the link and I’m afraid if you want a general package of broadband/phone then go for one of the more ‘generic’ ones.

    Force 9/Plusnet are the best ISP I’ve ever used. Been with them 3 years and no problems. 8MB broadband at £14.99.

    You also get a credit on your bill for any referrals you make.
