Do you have an Internet Business? I need some help…?

I’m trying to gain my knowledge of this internet business opportunity. I have a great idea and am trying to get all my eggs in one basket before I launch it. I’d like to know what hosting company you use and why you chose them? Is your internet business successful and if so why do you think it is? Lastly, did you build your own website or did you have someone do it for you – where did you build it and who built it for you? Sorry if this is a lot but I’m really trying to learn all I can.

Everything depends upon what you will require for your business. If you plan to have an automated inventory and shopping cart on your website, then you might want to hire someone who is a professional. That is, unless you are good with HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SQL, or several other web languages. For yourself, first check the local yellow pages for a company that designs websites. Many local web design companies will also offer a low-cost web hosting package (sometimes less than $3 a month!). Of course, if your business is going to eat-up a lot of hard drive space and require more bandwidth, then you will be paying a bit more money. I like using local companies because if there is a problem, I know where to find them in my own town. Your internet business will be as successful as the amount of time and money that you put into it, that’s really all there is to it.

Promoting a Business Opp – Internet Marketing?

I have a business opportunity that I need to promote and get people to join. Where would you and how would you suggest I promote this particular thing?
Its not an MLM, its no cost, etc…but its best to be 18+ so its hard to post on forums without getting a kid to message me.
Any suggestions…or if there are any gurus out there, any systems you use?

Make a list of sites that attract would-be entrepreneurs and those looking to make money from home. Search for keywords such as "home business" or "business opportunities" or "business ideas" — then make a list of those sites. My site for example attracts a lot of bizopp advertisers because my site attracts the type of customers they want

Then check with Adwords and other pay per click marketing. Be careful though as it can get expensive.

Check print publications such as Entrepreneur Magazine, as they always have bizopp ads because they reach the type of customers you want.
